Pole dancing author takes on banking

LONDON (UPI) -- A British woman who claimed to have quit her investment banking job because she couldn't stand the sexism admits she enjoys pole dancing.

The Daily Mail said Cambridge graduate Polly Courtney complained to The Observer about her male colleagues' visits to local strip clubs.

Courtney -- whose fictional account of her experiences in London's financial district is due to be published in November -- freely admits, however, that she enjoys pole dancing herself and has posted revealing pictures of herself in action on two Web sites, the Daily Mail reported.

Her novel, "Golden Handcuff," tells of two fresh faced graduates whose high hopes about life in the city are shattered as they find themselves being forced to sell their soul to their employer, the Daily Mail said.
