NFL Week 2 - Legends 12-3 With One to Play

NFL After posting an 11-5 record in week one, the Legends do it one better by having a lock on at least 12 wins in week two with just the Monday night game to play. Below is the Legends' take on Week 2's games.

Buffalo 16 Miami 6 (L) - We have to give the Bills credit. We didn't give them much love at the beginning of the year but after this win and a great effort last week in their loss to New England, they appear to be a pretty good team. Also, the Dolphins suck.

Chicago 34 Detroit 7 (W) - Another outstanding game by the Bears defense. It also appears the Bears may just have a quarterback the likes Bears' fans have not seen since the days of Sid Luckman. The Bears will get a test next week, however, when they play at Minnesota.

Indianapolis 43 Houston 24 (W) - What was the point of playing Peyton Manning late in that game? We are starting to dislike the Colts.

Minnesota 16 Carolina 13 (W) - The Vikings kicker saved the day with a touchdown pass and a game winning kick in OT. Panthers are this year's most disappointing team.

Baltimore 28 Oakland 6 (W) - Looks like the Ravens may make a serious run at the playoffs. Great defense and a solid offense. That, and they played the worst team in the NFL.

Atlanta 14 Tampa 3 (W) - Falcons take early control of the NFC South. As poor as Tampa and Carolina are playing, they could have that division won by week 6.

New Orleans 34 Green Bay 27 (W) - Break up the Saints! 2-0 with a big Monday night showdown against the Falcons next week. Packers looking good for that #1 draft pick next Spring.

Cincinnati 34 Cleveland 17 (W) - Carson and the boys keep it rolling.

Giants 30 Philadelphia 24 (L) - Choked? Screwed the pooch? Pissed it away? Take your pick.

Seattle 21 Arizona 10 (W) - Looks like the Seahawks found their offense.

San Francisco 20 St. Louis 13 (L) - 49ers hold on for a nice win. Enjoy, it's a long season.

New England 24 Jets 17 (W) - The Jets played well but the Patriots held them off late. Keep an eye on those J-E-T-S.

San Diego 40 Little Sisters of the Poor (Tennessee) 7 (W) - Another game they should have called at half time.

Denver 9 Kansas City 6 (W) - We know the Chiefs' problem, but what's up with Denver's offense?

Dallas 27 Washington 10 (W) - Redskins showing the world you can't buy a Super Bowl.
